Your first Murmur dictation.

Alpha builds are being prepared.

There is no public download yet. Invitations will include a signed, notarized build and a short setup guide once it has been verified.

Mac requirements

Apple Silicon Mac: M1 or later.
macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
A microphone and permission to use it.
Accessibility permission for global push-to-talk and auto-paste.
A verified local Whisper model. The default multilingual Base download is about 148 MB.

When your invitation arrives

Use the download link in your invitation and move Murmur into Applications.
Open Murmur and follow its microphone and Accessibility setup actions.
Confirm the model download. For Dutch and English Auto-detect, select multilingual Base, Tiny, or Small.
Keep a text field focused, hold your shortcut, speak a short sentence, then release.
If the text field changed before transcription finished, copy your transcript from Murmur instead.

Updates

Use Check for Updates when you want to look for a newer build. Murmur does not run background update checks. Published updates require a signed release in the update feed.

Tell us where onboarding, accuracy, or pasting broke down. Support has recovery steps and the reporting workflow. Keep examples free of private client or personal information.
